Yes. The guillotine is protected / stored inside metal cage.I could touch
only wooden rollers in bascule . The cage has a few small holes ;-)

Do you still have these pictures somewhere?
I went to this museum 2 months ago, but my low price camera isn't good enough to take any decent pictures of this guillotine.
