The March of Time

Apologies - my French is not good enough to post messages.

Has anybody seen the American newsreel from the 1930's period, part of "The March of Time" series for cinemas ?

One featured the guillotine - shown on British television some years ago.

There was footage of the horse drawn wagon travelling along a main Paris street - Anatole Deibler checking a railroad transport carriage - and images of him closing his window shutters at home.

Would the street be rue Dufresne in Paris ?

Rue Dufresne doesn't exist in Paris, just Villa Dufresne near the Seine.

Is the Porte de St-Cloud the nearest metro station ?

Then that would be the street - Deibler lived at number 9.

Anatole Deibler lived at 133bis Avenue de Versailles from 1909 until 1929 when he moved to Rue Claude-Terrasse, where he lived till his death in 1939.

Obviously my information was wrong, it is a long time since I saw this on TV.
